56th edition of Vinitaly

International Wine and Spirits Exhibition

Once again this year, some four thousand producers travelled to Verona to attend Vinitaly, one of the most important events for the Italian wine industry.

Thanks to growing political support, the presentation was hosted on 20 March in Brussels at the headquarters of the European Parliament with the aim of further highlighting the scope of the event.

The numbers, up by 20% compared to the last edition, attest to the global promotional capacity of this trade fair brand that allows exhibiting companies to come into contact with a wide selection of international buyers.

The selected foreign demand players come from 65 countries to which an estimated thirty thousand foreign operators will be added.

The objective is to offer a strategic target for companies investing in the exhibition and create real export markets.

For us, consultants, Vinitaly is always an opportunity to meet our customers, taste the new products on offer and participate in scientific seminars and conferences held by the greatest experts in the sector.

The diversity of skills and contacts is renewed every year, leaving us always pleasantly impressed by this business exhibition.

An international crossroads of trends able to represent well the evolution of the sector and the market needs, highlighting the Made in Italy.

In fact, the exhibition includes pavilions dedicated to organic wine, small niche productions, liqueurs and spirits as well as the most representative denominations on the Italian wine scene.

Also for this 2024, wine lovers will be able to participate in specific events organised in the city centre: exhibitions, wine talks, and tastings under the direction of wine and food journalists.

The format dedicated to wine tourism gives the measure of how much, in recent years, this phenomenon has become an integral part of the strategic assets of wineries and consequently of the planners who have the delicate task of designing appropriate reception, tasting and sales spaces.
