Strategic Advancement: Terraces, Facilities, and Elevated Structures for Tenuta Meraviglia

Following the analysis of the lateral ramp—whose functional and sustainable relevance has already been outlined—the construction site at Tenuta Meraviglia continues to evolve significantly. In this phase, we focus on the development of the first terrace, the implementation of systems ensuring the safety and health of the production spaces, and the completion of new structural elements that reaffirm Dievole Group’s vision of building a cutting-edge winery in every aspect.

The First Terrace Takes Shape

The first terrace, a distinctive feature of the new infrastructure, is nearing completion. This structure will not only enhance the panoramic view over the Tuscan Archipelago but will also serve as a connecting hub between different sections of the winery.

At the same time, installation of the air treatment and ventilation systems is being finalized. These systems are carefully calibrated to ensure optimal environmental conditions in the key areas of the building. Meanwhile, the fire prevention devices—an essential safeguard for both personnel and facilities during all operational phases—have been successfully installed.

Inclined Structures and Support Towers

In the Tinaia area, work is underway on the reinforcement of the inclined ramp slab, which has already been consolidated with a concrete pour. This complex operation requires a high level of precision to ensure long-term stability and durability.

Simultaneously, the erection of support towers is in progress. These temporary elements will enable the elevated construction of the slab. Designed to ensure safe working conditions, these structures also streamline operations and guarantee a high-quality outcome.

Progress in Parallel with System Installation

In the area designated for aging and bottling, the installation of piping within the crawl space is nearing completion. The use of an integrated 3D model allows project managers to meticulously monitor each phase of the systems work, preventing potential conflicts or overlaps between installed elements.

The digital synergy between design and execution continues to prove essential for meeting deadlines, optimizing resources, and ensuring high quality standards.

Interventions in Contact with the Rock

Another key development involves the installation of the lower reinforcement, starting from the natural rock formation and extending toward the diamond-cut wall. In previous months, finishing tests had already been conducted on the walls using various techniques—sandblasting, hydro-demolition, and mechanical demolition—in order to assess the most suitable aesthetic and structural solution for the context.

Reinforcement work is also underway at the ramp junction area. The harmonious integration of the structure into the surrounding landscape remains a core design priority, aimed at enhancing the Tuscan territory of Donoratico not only through wine production but also through respectful and sustainable architecture.

Looking Ahead

The Tenuta Meraviglia winery continues to evolve, combining technical precision, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the land. The next update will provide a more in-depth look at the progress of interior finishes and the organization of production and logistics spaces.
