In May, at the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Pisa, our company had the opportunity to share its expertise in cutting-edge winery design.
The event offered the chance to explore the multidisciplinary approach that defines our consultancy in the wine sector, with a focus on the harmonious fusion of architectural design and production functionality.
The seminar, led by our technical director, Stefano Venturi, and enriched by the presentation of the Oenologist Emiliano Qamil Mucolli, highlighted how modern winery design cannot overlook a deep understanding of the dynamics between structural and technological aspects.
We emphasized the importance of considering every element—from winemaking and storage systems to safety measures—as an integral part of an efficient and sustainable production ecosystem.
The vision of the process oenologist, a key figure in our methodology, was presented as essential to create optimal conditions for streamlining the entire production flow while also enhancing aesthetic aspects, turning them into an excellent wine tourism experience.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Prof. Andrea Lucchi, Prof. Francesca Venturi, and Prof. Giuseppe Ferroni from the Degree Course in Viticulture and Enology for hosting the initiative and for their valuable contribution.
A special thanks also goes to all the students and participants whose active presence and insightful questions fostered a fruitful debate, showing a lively interest in the topics addressed. This synergy between academia and professional practice is fundamental for SVC Winery Project.
We firmly believe that sharing expertise and investing in education are key to tackling the future challenges of the wine sector, promoting innovative and sustainable solutions that unite functional beauty and environmental respect.
