Architectural Harmony and Winemaking Philosophy in Service of the Land
Work at the Tenuta Meraviglia winery construction site is progressing steadily. Following the placement of the lower reinforcement and the ramp connection area, concrete has been poured on a section of the southern deck—an elevated position that offers a panoramic view of the striking Bolgheri landscape. This vantage point is not merely an aesthetic choice, but a symbol of the deep connection between architecture and territory, between viticulture and the environment.
For the Dievole Group, respect for the landscape and environmental protection are fundamental pillars of its corporate philosophy. As a testament to this commitment, since January 2023 the group has undertaken the path toward obtaining Equalitas certification, demonstrating a concrete dedication to sustainability at every stage of the production process.

Façade Walls Between Aesthetics and Functionality
Work continues on completing the façade walls overlooking the barrel aging and bottling rooms, in parallel with the installation of piping in the crawl space. Every detail is being meticulously monitored under the supervision of the SVC design team, in close collaboration with the Bernardo Tori e Associati studio.
One of the most stimulating challenges of this design phase concerns the selection of flooring and window frames, where aesthetic imperatives must necessarily be reconciled with functionality. The ultimate goal remains the creation of efficient and pleasant working environments, fully aligned with an organic, sustainable, and regenerative approach to wine production.

Safety Systems
In compliance with current regulations, installation has begun on the main safety systems, including a smoke extraction system and a fire escape staircase—an essential element to ensure rapid evacuation in case of emergency.
Meanwhile, the installation of wastewater piping in the tulipe area continues, along with the placement of mechanical system ducts in the crawl space. The latter will allow the ventilation system to transport and distribute air while ensuring excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as top-tier fire resistance.

Technology and Tradition in Winemaking
The production philosophy behind Tenuta Meraviglia’s winery is clearly reflected in the design of its technical spaces. Winemaking will take place through spontaneous fermentations in raw concrete tanks, ideal for encouraging micro-oxygenation of the must.
Aging, on the other hand, will take place in untoasted French oak barrels, chosen to highlight the authenticity of the territory’s aromas and fragrances. This clear and determined vision from our client has guided the entire project from the very beginning, leading us to create production spaces where functionality meets a deep respect for raw materials.

The construction site of Tenuta Meraviglia continues to progress steadily month after month, following a clear and consistent design vision. In the next update of our Construction Stories, we will delve into new and exciting phases of building and planning.
