In the previous chapter of this journey into the Tenuta Meraviglia construction site, we shared the care devoted to design, with a strong focus on landscape and sustainability. Today, we return to witness how this vision is taking concrete shape: from the first structures rising to the sky to the underground works that will house the heart of the winery.
A panorama opening to the sea
On the site of the new winery, every shade of blue blends with the gentle Bolgheri hills.
The installation of pillars and roof beams for the metal-framed office structure has begun. From the top floor, visitors will enjoy a breathtaking view stretching from the lush slopes to the horizon over the sea.

From the ramp to the barrel cellar, finishing works continue
At the Tenuta Meraviglia construction site, backfilling of the rear section of the ramp is progressing up to the level specified in the project.
Meanwhile, the cast-in-place concrete pour is advancing towards the northern area, while in the basement floors the precise positioning of the nozzles for the barrel cellar humidification system is being defined—a crucial element for preserving optimal aging conditions.
In addition, the insulation and flooring for the aging cellar have been installed, respecting an architectural structure that reflects the rugged morphology of the quarry, harnessing its effect on the microclimate.
As with every project by SVC, the technology is calibrated to production needs, selected based on the planned vinifications, and always placed at the service of the work carried out in the vineyard.

A winery in harmony with the environment for a unique experience
Drone footage reveals a construction site that integrates naturally into the surrounding landscape.
The new Tenuta Meraviglia is born as a regeneration project of an area once degraded, now returned to the landscape through architecture that balances functionality and aesthetic harmony.
Inside, production spaces are designed to ensure high quality standards while preserving the natural characteristics of the grapes from a terroir of extraordinary vocation.
The conceptual heart of the new winery will be the wine experience: a place where production and hospitality merge.
The structure will offer immersive wine tourism routes, with open-view production areas and dedicated tasting rooms designed to engage visitors and tell the story of the wine directly where it is born.

Towards the end of the journey
The Tenuta Meraviglia construction site is in full transformation: day by day, the design vision takes shape among hills, sea, and vineyards. A path that combines architecture, sustainability, and passion for wine.
Our journey continues steadily and is heading towards its final chapters. In the next article, we will explore the details of the installation of the Inox fermentation area and further features of Tenuta Meraviglia.
