After the completion of the first slab, the Tenuta Meraviglia winery construction site continues its development with new fundamental construction phases. At the same time as the progressive volumetric definition of the structure, the vertical connections, plant infrastructures and finishes that will characterise the building are being realised. Every detail is carefully executed in order to guarantee operational efficiency, functionality and perfect integration with the landscape context.
The realisation of vertical connections
One of the essential aspects for the functionality of the cellar is the construction of the vertical connections, which will allow movement between the different levels of the building. Depending on operational and logistical needs, stairs, ramps and elevators will be installed, sized to ensure an efficient flow of goods and people.
The technical specifications of these connections will be determined in relation to the area served: the slope, materials used, lighting and handrails will be designed to ensure safety and convenience in each section of the structure. This design aspect is of primary importance to ensure optimal operability and easy use of the spaces.

Hydraulic and disposal infrastructure
At the same time, manholes and pipes are installed, a critical step for the proper functioning of the plumbing and disposal systems. This phase requires meticulous project planning to ensure high performance and full compliance with current regulations.
In addition to the installation of the primary piping, adequately protected to withstand the stresses of time and use, the secondary connections and openings for inspection and maintenance activities are prepared. An efficient and well-structured plant system is an essential requirement for the functionality and longevity of the wine cellar, allowing optimal management of resources and simplified maintenance.

An aesthetic that reflects the territory
While the structural and plant-engineering optimisation of the interior spaces is being carried out, the exterior is also beginning to take shape more precisely. The aim is to create a building that blends harmoniously with the surrounding landscape, echoing the colours and morphology of the rock formations in the area.
Therefore, the exterior of the winery will be characterised by irregular surfaces and patterns evoking the nature of the geological substrate. The interior, on the other hand, will be characterised by the use of noble materials such as burnished steel, bush-hammered porphyry and natural wood slats, in order to establish a balance between contemporaneity and tradition. In the technical areas, on the other hand, industrial flooring and AISI 304 stainless steel finishes will be favoured, to guarantee maximum performance and resistance to wear.

The next step: defining the side ramp and other structural elements
As the work progresses, the Tenuta Meraviglia winery is approaching its final configuration. In the next article, we will take a closer look at a further design element: the construction of the side ramp, an essential component for logistics and the reception of grapes.
